About Me

I have a big family with lots of siblings and several nieces and nephews. Being an aunt is my favorite job. I enjoy biking, traveling, reading, organizing, spending time with friends and family, and being outside.

Ever since I was in elementary school I wanted to be an elementary teacher and go to Hastings College. And somehow, both of those dreams came true. I graduated from Lincoln Christian in 2013, and I never imagined that I would be back here 5 years later. I’m thankful that God redirected my steps and brought me back to this place that impacted me greatly.

Philosophy

My purpose in teaching is to guide children in a life-changing relationship with the Lord and cultivate a love for learning in them. I believe that kids were each created differently with special gifts from God, and I enjoy discovering those passions and gifts. In first grade we will be curious while learning about God’s world, courageous while trying new things, and kind to everyone around them.
