About Me

I grew up in Fremont, NE, but have called Lincoln home since I graduated high school. My wonderful husband, Perry, and I have been married since 1997. While we have ventured away a few times to Omaha, Columbus, and northern Minnesota, we have always returned knowing that Lincoln is a great place to raise a family.

God has blessed us with 4 amazing kids, 3 of whom are graduates of Lincoln Christian and have attended or are attending Northwestern College in Orange City, IA. Dana has graduated with a degree in Youth Ministry and Christian Education and is recently married and venturing off to Jacksonville Florida. Ryan is recently married and will graduate in December with degrees in Math and Computer Science and will be returning to Lincoln. Taylor is studying Psychology and Criminal Justice and playing golf as a Red Raider. I am grateful to still have 1 at home attending LCS, Sarah…cheering her on is one of my favorite pastimes!

It is truly awesome to look back at our journey with Lincoln Christian and to watch how God has directed my path here! It all started with Dana stating a week before starting 9th grade in public school that he really wanted to come to LCS…incredibly…God worked out all the details in a very short time frame. After his freshman year, we just knew we had to provide all our kids the incredible, Christ-centered education that LCS has to offer. But that wasn’t enough for me…through much prayer and support from my family, I made the jump from my career at the YMCA to the ministry team at Lincoln Christian…and it has been such an incredible joy! I thank God daily for the opportunities he has provided for me to build relationships with the wonderful families in the secondary and humbled that He has grown me into a coach. To be able to help young ladies not only improve in their golf/tennis skills but to help them grow in their faith and learn more about themselves and God’s plan for them through sports is an absolute honor.

I cherish spending time with my family! Other activities that bring me joy are playing tennis/golf, cooking/baking, coaching golf/tennis, and cheering on Crusader teams of all kinds.
