About Me

My husband, Steve (Nebraska native), and I have three children:  Josh, Jenna, and Jonathan.  Steve was called to pastor Grace Community Evangelical Church in Lincoln in 2006.  In 2012, our 3 children began attending LCS. Our family has been abundantly blessed by our church family and school family.  Josh and Jenna both graduated from LCS where they were involved in many sports, music, and arts activities.  We are so grateful for the positive spiritual, academic, and social influence of Lincoln Christian School in our children’s lives.

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten endorsement in 1990.  I, then, taught First Grade in a Houston, TX suburb (Spring ISD) for 4 years.  After Steve and I were married, we became Family Teachers at Boys Town in Omaha for one year.  Then, I returned to teaching First Grade in Texas City, TX where Steve served as a Youth Pastor. I was blessed to be a stay-at-home mom for many years until our youngest began Kindergarten at LCS.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking/jogging, exercising, reading, and visiting my family in Texas. I also currently serve on the worship team at our church and support Steve’s ministry to our loving church family as the Lord leads.

Philosophy

Philosophy of Education – It is a privilege to learn and teach about God’s world in the light of God’s Word!  It is my goal for all students to love Jesus, love others, and love learning.  There is truly no better place than the learning environment at Lincoln Christian for true spiritual growth, and it is an honor to join the dedicated team at LCS in educating young minds and hearts.

I am passionate about teaching the Truth about God’s world in the light of God’s Word, and it is a privilege to partner with parents in the Christian education of their children at Lincoln Christian.
