About Me
I am originally from a small town in south-central Nebraska. I came to Lincoln to attend UNL and ended up staying in the area. My husband and I have two children who help us care for our farm animals, the number and variety of those are continually changing. I loved homeschooling my children for many years before enrolling them at LCS. One of our favorite places to go as a family is Silver Dollar City. I love our animals, enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, biking, and kayaking, but also appreciate the opportunity to read a great book.

Philosophy
During our homeschooling journey, we used a curriculum centered on God’s word. I was amazed to discover how the dots of history, science, and math connected in ways that I missed in my secular education. In that regard, I want children to have the opportunity to pursue knowledge and skill-building using a Biblical worldview. I believe we as parents, teachers, and staff should seek God first as we are stewarding children and encouraging each other to grow in our God-given potential.
