About Me

I am single and live in Hickman, Nebraska.  Activities that I like to do outside of school include reading, baking, and working Sudoku puzzles.  The Ingalls Homestead in De Smet, South Dakota is a favorite place of mine. I enjoy taking family and groups of students camping there each summer.  Running has become an important part of my life as I run for health reasons.  I have completed numerous half marathons and other smaller races.  I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of my mom, five brothers and their families.  There are forty of us when we are all together.  My dad, sister and brother-in-law are enjoying Heaven.

Philosophy

God has called me to be a teacher. I am grateful for my Christian education background and believe that I am the person that I am today because of the godly men and women that influenced my life during my junior high, high school and college years. I believe that God needs to be the center of everything that we do. It is a privilege to integrate God’s Word into each subject as I teach it. I use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of the students God has given me.
