About Me

I have been married to Rhonda for over 30 years. We have three sons who all graduated from Lincoln Christian School; Luke (2011), Nate (2013), and Andrew (2015). We enjoy spending time with our sons, daughters-in-laws, and grandchildren. I was a classroom teacher at LCS for 25 years and became the elementary principal in 2017. In 2023, I took one step closer to retirement in transitioning to the Assistant Director of Spiritual Development and Elementary Media Specialist. This role allows me to implement apologetics training in elementary.

Rhonda and I have both loved being involved at Summit Ministries over the years, and have a love for defending our faith. “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”, (1 Peter 3:15) has been important verse to us.

I grew up as the youngest of seven children and I am also a twin. Having grown up in a military family, I joined the Army my senior year of high school. God has blessed me richly as I have served on active duty, in the Nebraska Army National Guard and in the Army Reserve. This service has played an integral part of allowing me to stay at Lincoln Christian School over the last 30 years.
