About Me

Blessed to be married to my wife Tara for 20+ years. We have 3 daughters named Nevaeh, Eden, & Willa. I accepted Christ as my personal savior when I was 16 years old and it forever changed my life and set the trajectory for our family to serve the Lord. I love coaching and have been blessed with the opportunity to coach track, boys basketball, girls basketball, & softball…from club sports through the high school level. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family or cheering on my girls, staying active, coaching, and watching the Chiefs, Royals, & Huskers.

Philosophy

With the Lincoln Christian mission of learning about God’s world in light of God’s Word, I feel that is the perfect approach for the disciplines of social studies and technology. Learning about “His-story”, gives us the best opportunity to properly learn every type of history whether it be from American history to world history. With that approach, we remember that we live in a fallen world where man’s sin has certainly impacted the scope of history but our hope in Christ is what drives us in our pursuit of a future that would honor God (as we take part in history ourselves). With technology we remember that it is a gift from God and like all gifts from Him, man’s problem with sin has impacted the use of this wonderful tool. “Redeeming technology for the glory of God”, should be our ambition in the pursuit to use technology in a way that it was intended. I am beyond grateful for how Lincoln Christian has provided me the opportunity to teach Truth such as the above mentioned examples.
