About Me

I grew up in Memphis, TN, but my husband Mario and I spent 12 years in the Dallas, TX, area after we married in 2005. The Lord moved us to Lincoln in 2017. Mario works for Voss Lighting as the Branch Manager for both the Lincoln and Omaha branches. I homeschool our two teenage boys, Anthony and Lucas, and we are plugged into a local Classical Conversations Community. Our home church is Faith Bible Church, and we enjoy leading a small group which meets in our home regularly. As a family, our aim is to love Jesus and to love others, so our focus is driven by these two things. We are passionate about travel and hold the monumental goal of visiting all 50 states before our boys graduate! Making those memories is priceless, and the variety of God’s creation is breath-taking!

Philosophy

As a young child, the Lord put two things in my heart–a desire to work in the medical field, and a desire to work with children. I graduated from the Mississippi College School of Nursing in 2003 and began fulfilling BOTH of those plans He had for me. I have held positions in a variety of areas within the field of nursing–from the Emergency Department to the clinical setting–but ALWAYS within the scope of pediatrics. I always joke that sick kids whine far less than sick adults! 😉 I am excited to be a part of the team at LCS with the freedom to encourage growth, development, and healing in the spiritual realm as well as the physical and emotional.
