My husband Dan and I have had children attending here for 26 years. For the first 10 years, we drove over 150 miles to school for to send our kids here, since then we have moved closer but the miles didn’t affect our decision to give our family a Christian education.
Six of our children have graduated from LCS and our youngest will graduate in 2018 and has her mind set on becoming a Veterinarian. Our children have hearts for Jesus and are living their faith daily. My oldest son Nate is a supervisor at Purina and has a business degree. My son Matt has a master’s in business and is a safety manager at Purina. Danielle is a special education teacher at LPS and has been there for 6 years. Joseph is a special education teacher also at LPS and he has been there 4 years. Benjamin has been at the same LPS school as Danielle for 2 years, also working as a special education teacher. Hannah is in her Junior year at Wesleyan University where she is majoring in special education also.
Working at LCS for the last 15 years has made me realize how blessed I am to be here and have this job! I love the atmosphere, the kids, and staff. Cleaning is what I do at LCS but I feel the ministry of building relationships and praying for the students is high on my job list.
