About Me

After serving almost 10 years in the United States Navy, I graduated from Bellevue University in 2002 with a degree in Business Administration. In 2013, I completed a Master of Divinity from Liberty University and am completing my dissertation towards a Doctorate of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I served as the Senior Pastor at Riverview Community Church in Ashland Nebraska from 2011-2017. I returned to military service, serving as the full-time support chaplain for the Nebraska National Guard.

After completing almost 20 years of service, I transitioned to Lincoln Christian School to serve as the Assistant Spiritual Development Director, Director of Operations, and 11^th Grade Bible Teacher. I also serve as the Head Coach of Jr. High Football, and as an assistant for the HS team.  I am incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to build relationships with this next generation and see them grow in their relationships with Jesus.

My wife, Jill, also serves at Lincoln Christian as the Director of Communications and Admissions.  We have three children, Lane, Chase, and Claire. Lane graduated from LCS in 2022 and Chase and Claire still attend.

Philosophy

I believe that education is about formation and transformation, and best occurs through the context of relationships. I am passionate about influencing students and being part of the heart-level transformation that only God can bring about. My prayer is that every student would experience a life-changing education as they receive the gospel, and move beyond knowledge into greater surrender and dependency on God.
