About Me

I grew up on a farm with four siblings near the small town of Newcastle, Nebraska. My parents taught us the importance of working hard and shared with us faith that God is good and will always provide. While attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, I met my husband, Randy Nelson. He is a self-employed carpenter, who has owned and operated Randys’ Custom Cabinets since 1992. We have four children who, with God’s grace, have all attended Lincoln Christian School since Kindergarten. My hobbies include reading, gardening, teaching chess, and Jazzercise.

Church: St. Mark's United Methodist Church

Volunteer Roles: Sunday School Teacher, Missions Committee

Philosophy of Education

God has given me a love of reading and exploring new books and information technology. As His servant in the library, I have the great pleasure of sharing this love with the students and faculty at Lincoln Christian School. It brings me great joy to help students find the resources and gain the knowledge they need to be successful in God’s world.
