About Me
I discovered my passion for education in high school when I had the opportunity to teach at the dance company I attended. My family includes my husband, Tyler, and our two dogs; Bean and Chester. Outside of the classroom you can find me volunteering with my church, spending quality fellowship time with friends, reading, baking, crocheting, tending the garden with my husband or spending time in the word.

Philosophy
Education was the calling God put on my life and I am blessed to be able to lead students not only to Jesus, but towards their own callings that God is putting on their lives. I believe in a classroom that is student-led, discussion driven, exciting to learn in, and instructed from a place of respect, compassion, and understanding. I strive to ensure students are comfortable and confident in my classroom to achieve the path placed before them. I establish resiliency to overcome difficulties in that path through the use of critical thinking skills and prayer.
