About Me

I have 3 children, Noah, Claire, and Sutton, a senior down to a preschooler, all at Lincoln Christian School. I’m mostly kept busy cheering them on at football, wrestling, track, and dance; but also spend several hours a week teaching ballet at a local studio.
My family also includes a dog, two bunnies, and six chickens…..one of those brilliant lock-down decisions.
For “fun” I like to go to the gym a few times a week, and often take Claire with me.
I always have a couple books on my nightstand I’m working through, usually a Christian non-fiction and a ballet philosophy or technique. My guilty pleasure is probably over-consuming YouTube videos of classical ballet variations. That, or street tacos.

Philosophy

My philosophy in education is to always be a student. I love the pursuit of knowledge and if I’m excited about something it’s a lot easier for the kids to get excited too, or at least hold their attention better. And the more I work to better my skills, or increase my knowledge of the topic, the better I’ll be able to impart that to the students.
