About Me

My family continues to grow with two grandsons on the way, two granddaughters, two daughter-in-laws, and my three sons who attended Lincoln Christian School. Of course, many of you already know my amazing wife, Tara, who teaches Math. I love to spend time with all of them and, on occasion, work with them on their home and car projects.

Church: I've attended Lincoln Berean Church for the past 40 years where I've served as a youth leader and as a spiritual care support person.

Philosophy

One of my favorite OT verses is in Exodus 31 when God “..filled Bezalel with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with the knowledge and with all kinds of skills – to make…stuff (Cory paraphrase)…” The trades can often be an overlooked occupation even though it’s critical to our daily lives, so I really appreciate God highlighting the tradesmen in these verses. My life’s work as a teacher has been to help students recognize and develop their aptitude for designing and building, and I’m incredibly grateful to bring some of these opportunities to the students at Lincoln Christian School!
