About Me

I grew up in Grand Island, NE where my parents and one of my siblings still live. I moved to Lincoln when I started college at UNL, and began teaching at Lincoln Christian after college. I am a member of First Street Bible Church, and in my free time help with the Wednesday children’s activities, spend time with family, travel, and get outside as much as possible.

One of my favorite things about God’s creation is design and observing how such a beautifully designed creation points to our infinitely wise God. I love being outdoors, running, art, and studying the way that God has ordered His universe specifically through the study of math. Understanding numbers helps me marvel at God’s wonders in Scripture. For example when we look at the probability of someone randomly fulfilling all of the OT prophecies exactly as Christ did, we stand in awe that Christ perfectly fulfills each one of them. We also know that God is truth and that as His ambassadors, we are to uphold truth. This flows into our dealings with other people as we work with money, interpret data, and communicate information. An understanding of math helps us be honest in our dealings with other people. I love exploring these things and helping others marvel at God’s creation through the lens of mathematics.
