About Me
I grew up in North Fond du Lac, WI where my parents still live in our childhood home. I attended the University of Wisconsin – Stout and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. The highlight of my college career was that during my internship at Walt Disney World (Yes, Mickey Mouse was my boss!) I met my husband Brian, who is originally from Lincoln, NE.
After living in Wisconsin and Costa Rica (we needed a break from the cold and snow) we recently moved here to “The Good Life” from Florida with our 3 kids and 2 dogs to be closer to my awesome husband’s family.
Curiosity of the world drives me to try new things and go on new adventures such as working with 7th and 8th graders! I also enjoy running, biking, and being outdoors with my family and dogs.
After working in the business world, I realized that my passion was working with children, where I could influence lives and make an impact on the next generation. I might have graduated with a business degree, but God had a different plan for me. (I should have paid more attention to my family DNA, since my mom was a school teacher for 30 years!) Thankfully, LCS has welcomed us with open arms and has made us feel like we have always been family.
