About Me

I grew up on a cattle ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska. I met my husband Kyle while attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Upon graduating with a Sports Management degree, we moved to the Chicago area where Kyle was stationed with the U.S. Navy. While my degree was in Sport Management, I began a career in human resources and recruiting. I continued this career after we moved back to Nebraska, working part-time after we started a family. I spent a decade working in recruiting for ConAgra Foods and Mutual of Omaha and eventually managed the Wellness Program at Mutual of Omaha. In 2005, we had connected with a brand new church plant in Ashland, NE, not knowing that God would eventually raise up my husband to pastor this church. In 2011, Kyle became the Senior Pastor of Riverview Community Church. This transition opened the doors of ministry for me personally. Eventually, I went on staff with Riverview part-time as Community Ministries Director while volunteering as a Life Group Coach, Kids Life Teacher, and Student Life Leader.

In the spring of 2016, God directed our path to Lincoln Christian. We had no idea how much this school would mean to us, and how we would get to see God work in the hearts of our children, as well as the students we serve. An excellent academic education was, and is, incredibly important to us. Yet, an education that places God at the center of every subject, recognizes the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, and utilizes teachers who extend our family’s principles and values in teaching our children with love and grace was even more appealing in the beginning, and now, is priceless.

Since coming to Lincoln Christian, God has called my husband into full time chaplaincy with the National Guard. He also coaches Junior High Football at LCS. Our three children Lane, Chase, and Claire are our greatest joys! We believe that the mission of this school aligns with the calling on our lives as parents. The vision of the school is our heartbeat – that our children – and their fellow students – will have a life-changing education. Our prayer is that God will raise up the students of Lincoln Christian as transforming influences in this world – so no matter where they go, or what they become, they will be taking the hope and love of Jesus Christ to more and more people, generation after generation!
