About Me

I grew up on a cattle ranch in the Sandhills of Nebraska. I met my husband Kyle while attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Upon graduating with a Sports Management degree, we moved to the Chicago area where Kyle was stationed with the U.S. Navy. While my degree was in Sport Management, I began a career in human resources and recruiting. I continued this career after we moved back to Nebraska, working part-time after we started a family. I spent a decade working in management and recruiting for ConAgra Foods and Mutual of Omaha. Eventually, God called me into ministry and I worked alongside my husband who was pastoring a church.

In 2014, the Lord led us to homeschool our children for two years. We fully intended to re-enroll them in public school after the two-year commitment we had made. During those two years, however, we developed a deep conviction for Christian education.  As we sought the Lord for wisdom, He directed our path to Lincoln Christian School in 2016. We had no idea how much this school would mean to us, and how we would get to see God work in the hearts of our children, as well as the students we serve. An excellent academic education was, and is, incredibly important to us. Yet, an education that places God at the center of every subject, recognizes the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, and utilizes teachers who extend our family’s principles and values in teaching our children with love and grace was even more appealing in the beginning, and now, is priceless.

Our three children Lane, Chase, and Claire are our greatest joys! We believe that the mission of this school aligns with the calling on our lives as parents. There are not a lot of passages of Scripture that speak directly to parenting. However, Deuteronomy 6 is one. This school helps Kyle and I to live out the commands to make our faith a part of everything we do and to center our children’s teaching and instruction around God and His Word. Our oldest son has now graduated and is serving in the United States Marine Corps. We are so thankful for the foundation that was laid for him through our family, our church, and this school.

I often share with people that working here is personal for me…both as a mom…and as a Kingdom laborer who longs to see this world impacted for Jesus Christ. I believe in what we are doing at Lincoln Christian School. It’s hard for me to imagine a mission that matters more than grounding and equipping children with Truth. Truth about who God is, what He has done for us in Jesus, and what that means for each child’s individual identity and life. Our prayer is that God will raise up the students of Lincoln Christian as transforming influences in this world – so no matter where they go, or what they become, they will be taking the hope and love of Jesus Christ to more and more people, generation after generation! I praise God for His provision for this school and His provision for me to be a part of it!
