About Me

I always count myself blessed to have been raised in a Christian home with parents that encouraged living out the Word. I made a personal commitment to the Lord at an early age and, in obedience, was soon baptized. God has impacted my life in many ways. I’ve come to the realization this life isn’t going to be easy. Still, I serve a God who can carry me through those difficult circumstances. A good friend once told me, “I serve Him not for what he can do for me, but because of who he is.” He is always faithful.
I was born and raised in Washington State, where I met my husband, Kristopher. After a few years of marriage, we moved to Springfield, Missouri, for 16 years. I was blessed to serve in the church in several different capacities. My husband and I both desired to be closer to family, and we felt the Lord leading us to his hometown of Lincoln.
I received my Bachelor of Education from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, majoring in Early Childhood Inclusive. I am currently working on my Master in Curriculum and Instruction from UNK.
My husband and I have been married for over 25 years and have three beautiful children. Our oldest daughter Aunustie is married to Cullin. They have a remarkable little man, Lance. Our son Karson is 20, and our youngest daughter Arisyn is 15 and attends LCS. I continue to grow in the Word and learn something new every day. I’m excited to see what he has planned for me at LCS.

Philosophy

Teaching has been my lifelong passion. Children are naturally curious, and I love seeing children light up when they discover something new. I find fulfillment in helping them explore, learn, and discover new things about God’s World. Educating young children is more than providing them with the information they need. It’s equipping them with the skills that enable them to seek answers and utilize those skills beyond the classroom.
