About Me

I grew up in Logan, Iowa with my parents and younger brother. I love spending time with my family. I went to UNO and graduated in December 2022. I will be moving to Lincoln this summer to start teaching at LCS. I am excited to be a part of the LCS community. In my free time, I like to do calligraphy, read, be outside, and spend time with my family.

Volunteer Roles: Youth Sponsor, VBS teacher

Philosophy

I believe children should be able to learn, explore, and try in a setting that is safe and allows room for making mistakes and trying again. I believe that education is meant to equip students to face the world as critical thinkers who know how to persevere and problem-solve. In the Christian education setting, we have the responsibility to do this while teaching students how to look at all accepts of life through a Biblical worldview. I want kids to succeed, but most of all I want them to know they are loved by God and created by Him.
