A few years ago, the introduction of new core values helped shape our culture and keep us focused on a tangible way to live out the mission and vision that Lincoln Christian School has had since 1951. Now, 70 years after our founding, we are excited to roll out updated logos and a new mascot that will better represent that same mission and vision that God continues to call us to as a school!
We believe that the Truth of the Bible is absolute, and we use this Truth as the anchor for all instruction and activities.
We see parents, families and the local church as facilitators of what we teach, recognizing that it’s through these God-given relationships that we can experience the love of Christ.
We pursue excellence to bring God glory and encourage students to maximize their God-given potential through the development of their unique gifts and talents.
We seek to be transformed by the Holy Spirit as we equip and empower students to be “light” in our community and impact countless lives for Christ.
Our logo is a visual representation of who we are, what we believe and the culture we value. This logo is the result of much prayer, discernment and intentionality to honor the past and cast a vision for the future. Each element and color has meaning and purpose and each represents significant chapters of our story.
A crowned-lion and shield combination represents the Lion of Judah, the greatest Crusader – Jesus Christ. His strength, dignity and divine purpose not only served as a perfect sacrifice for sinful man, but an example that we look to as we seek to live lives worthy of our calling.
The colors used in the design are shades of blue, white and red to reflect our proud heritage and representation in the Christian flag. A new color of gold has been added to reflect the continued pursuit of excellence in our spiritual, academic and physical ambitions.
Over the next six months you might start to see our new branding show up in a few places. We’re approaching the implementation of the new logo with jurisprudence and our regular life-cycle replacement of gear, equipment and facility upkeep.
