God’s incredible provision – a gift for generational impact

What began in 1951 with just eleven students meeting in the basement of a local church has grown into a thriving school shaped by God’s provision and the unwavering commitment of faithful families. Despite early challenges, including location issues and limited resources, those who believed in the mission of Christian education persevered through prayer, sacrifice, and service. As enrollment grew, so did the school, eventually expanding to Normal Boulevard. As God continued to bless the mission of the school, attendance continued to rise and by the 1970’s, the school’s leadership and families began praying for what God would do next.

As the school once again outgrew its space and faced pressure to relocate, leaders approached two farmer brothers about purchasing 20 acres at 84th and Old Cheney. Though the school had little money, the brothers prayed and chose to donate the land, later extending their gift to 30 acres—land worth millions today. Their faith-filled generosity became the foundation for the campus that continues to serve generations of students. Today, Lincoln Christian School stands not just as a place of learning, but as a living legacy, rooted in God’s grace and the faithful obedience of those who believed in raising up students in Truth.
